Para máquinas com XP o jeito é apelar para o PosReady/WEPOS, se manter elas sempre atualizadas com os patches da Microsoft elas são relativamente seguras.

Se você não conseguir instalar as atualizações, você ainda tem a opção de desabilitar o SMBv1 como solução alternativa. Porém, ainda é extremamente importante que o seu PC esteja sempre com as últimas atualizações disponíveis.

Aproveitando o post, alguém mais além deste que vos fala está com um problema de tres processos abrirem toda vez que navego pelo Chrome? estes processos são "g1AF3.exe", "g17C9.exe" e "g64A5.exe" e só se apresentam quando abro o Chrome. Já reinstalei o navegador por diversas s, mas toda vez que o dito se abre, esses processos tornam a abrir.

Passa o Malwarebytes e o Adwcleaner aí, e já aproveita e faz uma limpeza com o CCleaner. Também recomendo apagar o conteúdo da pasta temp (Win+R > digite %temp% e dê enter).

Cansei de ficar procurando e taquei o nome dos arquivos no registro, acabei chegando nos registros de uns jogos ronaldeados. Vou dar uma formatada mesmo, já que o meu driver Wireless deu ruim ontem e não quero esquentar a cabeça com driver de rede.
