KATHLEEN KENNEDY RUMORED TO BE DESTROYING THE MANDALORIAN

Rumors surrounding The Mandalorian surface in regards to Baby Yoda, The Emperor, Rey and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

The rumors come from the future ruler of the earth, Doomcock on YouTube, who previously leaked details about Rise of Skywalker and who is responsible for those initial rumors about Disney losing confidence in Brie Larson and Captain Marvel and the recent Star Trek disaster rumor.

The Mandalorian rumors:

The rumor claims that Kathleen Kennedy wanted to originally tie in The Mandalorian to Rise of the Skywalker, and in particular, to Emperor Palpatine and Rey.

Kennedy wanted to use The Mandalorian to explain how Palpatine survived, how he built up his army, how he managed to construct his fleet -- basically retconning and explaining the "awful" details in the Rise of Skywalker that was never addressed.

It's said the initial pitch for The Mandalorian was that while looking for Baby Yoda's home, the Mandalorian is hired to search for someone's missing loved one and that quest would lead into the Palpatine retconned storyline.

The rumor claims Jon Favreau wasn't all happy with Kennedy's approach so he enlisted George Lucas and they went above Kennedy to Disney CEO Bob Iger, which resulted in Kennedy being distanced from The Mandalorian (it's also been said Kennedy has been banned from the Season 2 set, though this rumor says Kennedy is still somewhat involved and attends meetings).

It's claimed that Kennedy still wants to move forward with the story that The Child is actually a reborn Yoda, something Iger is said to have been on board with (Iger recently stepped down as Disney CEO), but that Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni don't like the idea and are attempting to get it changed.

It's said The Child will not be called Yoda, but as time goes on, he will be able to recall his past.

It's further said the storyline will be used to justify the existence of Rey, with the reasoning being that The Force puts people where they need to be.

It's said The Force puts Yoda back into play because he is needed and that is why Baby Yoda doesn't need any training, which also applies to Rey, as "The Force wills it."

So if Kennedy gets her way, The Mandalorian will be used to justify Rey in the Disney Star Wars films as a "Mary Sue."

The rumor also notes that production surrounding The Mandalorian Season 2 is really positive and that Favreau is well-liked, so we'll have to wait and see how things play out, and that Star Wars seems to be in really good hands with Favreau and Filoni (who are both also rumored to be taking over Star Wars).

Worth a note is that I am also guessing Kathleen Kennedy will be gone when her contract expires next year, as Iger is also basically gone from Disney, and Stephen Spielberg recently departed from LucasFilm's Indiana Jones 5 (Kennedy is a long time producer on the Indiana Jones flicks, so do the math). I am also guessing Kenndey's involvement with LucasFilm and Star Wars is on a limited basis.

Star Wars High Republic Author Daniel José Older Promises More Gender Nonbinary Star Wars Characters

Star Wars author Daniel José Older, who is part of the new High Republic initiative and previously wrote the Star Wars novel Last Shot: A Han and Lando Novel, promised he will be introducing more gender nonbinary characters into Star Wars.

Older took to Twitter to write, “Let me say this to international publishers: Taka Jamoreesa was not the first and I can promise you they will not be the last gender nonbinary Star Wars character.”

He added, “So you would do well to figure out how to handle that correctly for translations.”

Taka Jamoreesa was a character introduced in Older’s Last Shot novel. Jamoreesa worked with Leia Organa as an agent of the New Republic. The character was part of a crew alongside Han Solo and Lando Calrissian who were attempting to thwart Fyzen Gor’s take over of the galaxy.

Older’s promise shouldn’t come as a surprise. Star Wars made it very clear they were focusing on”diversity and representation” in their new High Republic publishing initiative.

In a video promoting the new initiative, Vice President of Franchise Content and Strategy James Waugh stated, “We put together a really unique writer’s room. We had really diverse voices with very different opinions about Star Wars.”

Not only did Waugh discuss it in the promo video, but during the video a white board is shown that shows diversity and representation in two columns.

Older is expected to pen Star Wars The High Republic Adventures, a comic series for IDW Publishing.

If Star Wars The High Republic Adventures is similar to the current Star Wars Adventures it will be a series targeted at audiences of all-ages. Meaning the target audience is kids.

Cavan Scott, who is also part of The High Republic publishing initiative, previously described the Star Wars Adventures series when the first volume was released back in November 2017.

Scott stated, “The great thing about Star Wars Adventures is that, as well as introducing a whole host of people to Star Wars, these issues may even be a kid’s introduction to comics, and to reading in general.”

He added, “They can introduce young readers to so many incredible worlds, and really instill a love of reading at an early age. They did for me.”

The Mandalorian Season 2 Casts Rosario Dawson As Ahsoka Tano
Rosario Dawson has reportedly joined the cast of The Mandalorian season 2, and she will be playing a live-action version of Ahsoka Tano

The Mandalorian season 2 casts Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano. The character made her debut in the Clone Wars animated movie, voiced by Ashley Eckstein. While viewers didn't take too kindly to Anakin Skywalker's young Padawan at first, Ahsoka later evolved into a fan-favorite as the Clone Wars TV show progressed. She's now considered one of the more popular characters in the entire franchise and has appeared in multiple mediums across canon, including a supporting role in Star Wars Rebels and the Ahsoka novel. Of course, she is a main character in the seventh and final season of Clone Wars, which is currently ongoing.

Over the years, there's been much clamor for Ahsoka to make the leap to live-action - something beyond her vocal cameo in The Rise of Skywalker (where she was one of the Jedi voices speaking to Rey). Dawson has been a top pick in regards to fan casting, and playing Ahsoka is something the actress has expressed interest in multiple times. As recently as January this year, Dawson was campaigning on social media to portray Ahsoka on The Mandalorian. Now, those dreams have come true.

According to /Film, Dawson has joined the cast of The Mandalorian season 2 as live-action Ahsoka. THR's Borys Kit corroborated the report on his Twitter account. New episodes of The Mandalorian are slated to debut in October 2020.

Obviously, details about Ahsoka's role in The Mandalorian are being kept under lock and key for now. However, it's reasonable to assume she will be involved with Baby Yoda in some capacity. Din Djarin does his best to protect the Force-sensitive youngster, but The Child has a power he will never be able to fully understand. It's possible Ahsoka will help Din take care of Baby Yoda, serving as a mentor for an infant honing his abilities. She may even know key information about Baby Yoda's mysterious backstory, so it'll be interesting to see how this pans out. And with Mandalorian villain Moff Gideon in possession of the darksaber, there's potential The Mandalorian season 2 will feature classic Star Wars lightsaber duels and let Dawson take part in the action.

Lucasfilm's never been shy about integrating characters from the animated shows into live-action projects (see: Saw Gerrera in Rogue One, Maul in Solo), so it's cool to see Ahsoka continue the trend - especially since Dave Filoni is involved. The Clone Wars and Rebels executive producer co-created Ahsoka with George Lucas and holds the character near and dear to his heart. Filoni will make sure Ahsoka's part in The Mandalorian is substantial and carries significant weight in the story. Fans were already hyped for The Mandalorian season 2 based on the strengths of the first season, and now that excitement will increase exponentially. Hopefully, Ahsoka's live-action debut doesn't disappoint.

Those with an interest in the expanded Star Wars universe had been clamoring for her to make the transition to either the movies or TV shows for a while now, with constant speculation linking the Jedi to the franchise in recent months. One of the most popular theories was that Ahsoka was set to play a prominent role in Kevin Feige’s in-development Star Wars project, with his Marvel Cinematic Universe star Brie Larson heavily linked to the part.

And while there’s still a chance that the character could show up in Feige’s Star Wars movie, we’ve also heard from our sources – the same ones that told us months ago that Ahsoka was set to make an appearance in The Mandalorian – that Larson is still in the mix, but for a different role now.

Yes, after passing on the opportunity to play Tano, the Captain Marvel star is said to be on Feige’s wish list to lead the spinoff as Mara Jade, who has a very muddled history in the Star Wars expanded universe but is still hugely popular with fans. Disney and Lucasfilm are very high on the idea of bringing Larson into the franchise, apparently, something the 30 year-old seems more than okay with, and despite names like Emily Blunt also said to be under consideration, Marvel’s Chief Creative Officer has made the Academy Award winner his number one choice, from what we’re told.

Of course, nothing can be confirmed as of yet, with Feige’s Star Wars movie still set to be a long way away, but we’ll keep you posted as soon as we hear more about the studio’s plans for Mara and who will end up playing her.

Ao invés de terminar com uma festa regada a suco Gummy, o filme deveria terminar com um funeral, igual ao episódio I, mas ao invés de um personagem como Qui-Gon Jinn, que ninguém conhecia ou tinha qualquer apelo emocional, a ideia era matar... Han Solo.

Céus, consegue imaginar isso? Idiotas de Hollywood matando Han Solo para gerar drama. brrr. Felizmente George Lucas interveio e acabou com essa ideia idiota, com o mais nobre dos motivos: Iria atrapalhar a venda de bonequinhos do Han.

Fora que era legal ver ele pilotando a Falcon feito um alucinado em batalhas bem maiores que a de Endor, ou se metendo em tiroteios. Também tem o fato dele deixar os inimigos (e várias vezes os aliados) putíssimos com atitudes/falas dele, como quando ele colocou o Cheewie pra falar com um warlord imperial só pra trollar o cara ("Talk to my wookiee"), ou quando ele fazia coisas pra irritar a Leia e o Luke só pela zoeira. E até coisas "simples" como explicar pro futuro genro coisas sobre ser casado com uma jedi "Então, você vai se casar com uma jedi, então é bom vc saber de algumas coisas, vc tem que tomar cuidado com o que fala quando é casado com uma mulher que pode quebrar seu pescoço só com a força do pensamento" e claro que ele fala isso em voz alta em frente a mulher e a filha

In Star Wars: The High Republic, Lucasfilm’s upcoming multi-platform epic, we’ll find out.

“Readers will see a very wide variety of Jedi in this era,” says Lucasfilm Publishing creative director Michael Siglain. “This is a hopeful, optimistic time, when the Jedi are good and noble, and we want to reflect that in their characters while still giving them enough depth and dimension so that their individual personalities and idiosyncrasies shine through. While the Jedi are undoubtedly heroes in The High Republic, they promise to be varied, unique, and very “human” — no matter their species. “We’ve put a lot of time and effort into making our Jedi feel like real, rounded individuals,” writer Cavan Scott, one of the architects of The High Republic, tells StarWars.com. “They are all different, approaching the Force in individual and unique ways and yet are united with a common goal. They serve not out of unwavering dogma, but a deep passion to protect light and life. And they’re all at different stages in their individual journeys. Some have experience on their side, some have the exuberance of youth. Some are still finding their place in the Order while others step naturally into leadership roles. Some may not have chosen to work with the Jedi they’ve been posted alongside, but all are dedicated to be a guiding light for the galaxy. Individually they are strong, together they are invincible, but like the best heroes they each have lessons to learn and challenges to overcome. Exciting times lie ahead.”

Keeve is a young firebrand Jedi, believed to have a great future ahead of her, if only she would believe it herself. Quick-witted and more impulsive than she should be, Keeve has only been a Jedi Knight for a few weeks and is a little starstruck around Avar, knowing many of the great things Kriss has done in the past. She is determined to prove herself to Avar and the other legendary Jedi stationed on Starlight Beacon, but first she must learn to trust in herself as much as she trusts the Force.

Stellan Gios

Stellan is an optimistic and well-respected Jedi Master. Stellan came up through the Order with Avar Kriss, and although they are often on different assignments for the Jedi or the Republic, when the two work together they are a powerhouse team of two noble heroes in action. Strong in the Force and a natural teacher, Stellan is currently stationed at one of the Jedi Temple outposts on the distant planet of Caragon-Viner.

Vernestra “Vern” Rwoh

Vern is a newly-minted Jedi Knight. Vernestra, Mirialan, was Padawan to Stellan Gios. She works hard and is devoted to the Jedi Order, more so than most others her age. At sixteen she is one of the youngest Knights in a generation. She struggles to fit in with the adults while also setting a good example for the younger Jedi.

STARWARS.COM REVEALS NEW DETAILS ABOUT THE FORCE-WIELDING HEROES OF LUCASFILM’S UPCOMING PUBLISHING MEGA-EVENT

In an exclusive series, StarWars.com is pulling back the curtain on Star Wars: The High Republic, a publishing epic set about 200 years before the events of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, with insights from creators, new details, and never-before-seen concept art. Arriving fall 2020, the story will be explored through multiple voices and span adult and young adult novels, children’s books, and comics from a variety of publishers. In this installment, StarWars.com gets a first look at some of the starring Jedi Knights and Masters.

Obi-Wan Kenobi’s words in Star Wars: A New Hope have stayed with fans for years, inspiring questions, images, and wonder. What were the Jedi like at their best, well before the rise of Luke Skywalker? How did they function within the galaxy? Who were they?

In Star Wars: The High Republic, Lucasfilm’s upcoming multi-platform epic, we’ll find out.

“Readers will see a very wide variety of Jedi in this era,” says Lucasfilm Publishing creative director Michael Siglain. “This is a hopeful, optimistic time, when the Jedi are good and noble, and we want to reflect that in their characters while still giving them enough depth and dimension so that their individual personalities and idiosyncrasies shine through. The Jedi Knights of the High Republic are both aspirational and inspirational. In short, they’re the good guys.”

While the Jedi are undoubtedly heroes in The High Republic, they promise to be varied, unique, and very “human” — no matter their species. “We’ve put a lot of time and effort into making our Jedi feel like real, rounded individuals,” writer Cavan Scott, one of the architects of The High Republic, tells StarWars.com. “They are all different, approaching the Force in individual and unique ways and yet are united with a common goal. They serve not out of unwavering dogma, but a deep passion to protect light and life. And they’re all at different stages in their individual journeys. Some have experience on their side, some have the exuberance of youth. Some are still finding their place in the Order while others step naturally into leadership roles. Some may not have chosen to work with the Jedi they’ve been posted alongside, but all are dedicated to be a guiding light for the galaxy. Individually they are strong, together they are invincible, but like the best heroes they each have lessons to learn and challenges to overcome. Exciting times lie ahead.”

Avar Kriss

Avar is the brightest, most noble example of Jedi-hood. She always tries to see the good in people and situations, and never puts herself first. She is invigorated about life on the frontier and the challenges it brings, and is an inspiration for those who work with her. She is compassionate, not dogmatic, and always ready to sacrifice herself over others. Avar Kriss is the best of the best.

Loden Greatstorm

Loden is a Twi’lek Jedi Master, and is considered to be one of the best teachers in the Jedi Order. Strong and wise, with a good sense of humor, Loden looks at every moment as a learning experience, always trying to better himself and those around him, especially his Padawans.

Keeve Trennis

Keeve is a young firebrand Jedi, believed to have a great future ahead of her, if only she would believe it herself. Quick-witted and more impulsive than she should be, Keeve has only been a Jedi Knight for a few weeks and is a little starstruck around Avar, knowing many of the great things Kriss has done in the past. She is determined to prove herself to Avar and the other legendary Jedi stationed on Starlight Beacon, but first she must learn to trust in herself as much as she trusts the Force.

Stellan Gios

Stellan is an optimistic and well-respected Jedi Master. Stellan came up through the Order with Avar Kriss, and although they are often on different assignments for the Jedi or the Republic, when the two work together they are a powerhouse team of two noble heroes in action. Strong in the Force and a natural teacher, Stellan is currently stationed at one of the Jedi Temple outposts on the distant planet of Caragon-Viner.

Vernestra “Vern” Rwoh

Vern is a newly-minted Jedi Knight. Vernestra, Mirialan, was Padawan to Stellan Gios. She works hard and is devoted to the Jedi Order, more so than most others her age. At sixteen she is one of the youngest Knights in a generation. She struggles to fit in with the adults while also setting a good example for the younger Jedi.

Recentemente tivemos um "causo" interessante na (excelente) série O Mandaloriano: Uma famosa feminista interessada em controlar a cultura Pop (Sarkeesian) reclamou da falta de uma personagem feminina na série, no que foi repetida por uns milhares (ou dezenas de milhares) de seguidores. O problema é que ou a nossa querida não assistiu ao episódio ou não teve capacidade de enxergar que uma das personagens mandalorianas era uma mulher. Ou seja, ela criticou sem ver, milhares e milhares de pessoas que também não viram deram endosso à crítica dela. Isso que, logo adiante, tivemos tanto uma doce mocinha indefesa quanto uma hábil e poderosa guerreira apresentadas na série.

Só que, mesmo a feminista e seus seguidores estando errados - e provando que não são público da série - a Disney ouviu suas reclamações e já alistou uma atriz para viver um papel feminino mais importante na trama, como Ahsoka Tano, basicamente ignorando que o público que deu altas notas, grande visibilidade e audiência não pediu nenhuma mudança e, muito menos, uma importante personagem feminina para tirar tempo de tela do personagem principal.

Isso nos leva lá atrás em O Despertar da Força. Após o filme faturar 2 bilhões de dólares, alguns fãs reclamaram de certas escolhas narrativas da trama, algumas falhas foram imediatamente aceitas (como Léia abraçar a desconhecida Rey quando soube que seu marido morreu, ao invés do amigo inseparável dele - e dela - Chewbacca) mas outras viraram um campo de batalha, a mais famosa dessas falhas o fato de Rey ter enormes e incríveis poderes sem uma explicação. Ao invés de simplesmente dizer "No próximo filme vocês terão essa explicação" e dar essa explicação, a Disney passou a tratar todos que reclamavam como machistas, racistas e brancos (mesmo se você fosse uma mulher negra) e o filme seguinte, Os Últimos Jedi, jogou na cara dessas pessoas que a Disney não os havia entendido e até mesmo os reprovava. Resultado? O filme rendeu apenas 66% do filme anterior. Isso mesmo, 700 milhões de dólares a menos. Os feministos e feministas que a Disney focava? Esperaram sair a versão BD-Rip para baixar e assistir de graça, já os fãs pagantes não foram. Ou foram e viram que foram enganados e não foram mais (provavelmente se soubessem, o filme não teria feito nem os 1.4 bi que fez).

Numa mostra de que não tinha um capitão no leme do navio, a empresa continuou os dois anos seguintes a hostilizar os fãs que reclamavam dos rumos que Os Ultimos Jedi tomou, enquanto contratou um diretor e roteirista que fizessem um filme que agradasse esses mesmos fãs, ao mesmo tempo que não desagradasse os feministos e feministas que eram um público importante. O filme não agradou ao público consumidor, não agradou aos feministos/as (que, de novo, esperaram a versão BD-Rip) e faturou apenas 50% do que faturou O Despertar da Força. Se considerar 4 anos de inflação, não faturou nem 50%!

Continuando a mostrar que o navio está sem capitão, sem contramestre ou primeiro-oficial, a Disney solta um Star Wars clean, bunitinho e politicamente correto para agradar... Os mesmos SJWs (feministos e feministas que assistem BD-Rip). A falta de controle é tal que, pensando "vou agradar aos racistas" colocam como principal uma loira de olhos azuis como principal heroína, mas num novo universo, pasteurizado, limpo, brilhante e asséptico.

Imagina uma série chamada Desert Scape sobre pessoas que caem no deserto e precisam sobreviver e escapar se lá e, depois dela fazer sucesso você acha que ela é preconceituosa com quem vive no deserto e bota "Sem o calor parecer ruim"...

Star Wars sem guerra é Desert Scape sem o pessoal precisar se preocupar com o calor do deserto, tira toda a premissa da coisa, até do nome da série.

Tá evoluindo mto bem até aqui. Tô bem ansioso, torcendo pra ele ser o Vader em parte da temporada. pra ver a queda dele com mais tempo de tela do que no episódio 3.

Artist Redesigns Star Wars: The High Republic’s Avar Kriss

Artist Steve Wayne recently showed off his redesign for Star Wars: The High Republic’s Avar Kriss.


Avar Kriss’ Original Design
Star Wars recently introduced the world to the character describing her as “the brightest, most noble example of Jedi-hood.” They also noted she’s “the best of the best.”

Here’s the official description:

“Avar is the brightest, most noble example of Jedi-hood. She always tries to see the good in people and situations, and never puts herself first. She is invigorated about life on the frontier and the challenges it brings, and is an inspiration for those who work with her. She is compassionate, not dogmatic, and always ready to sacrifice herself over others. Avar Kriss is the best of the best.”

Along with this description they showed off the character’s design.

As you can see, she wields a green lightsaber, has medium-length blonde hair, and wears a white garb with a yellow cloak. She has brown gloves and boots. Atop her white outfit, she sports a yellowish brown tabard. It’s all tied together with a brown belt.


Steve Wayne’s Redesign
Steve Wayne decided to redesign the character. On Twitter he described the original design as “boring, uninspired, and way too masculine.” He went on to comment, “I mean, if your lead character is basically an overpowered and flawless goddess, at least make her look like one, right?”

Here’s a good look at his redesign.

As you can see her color scheme remains the seem. However, she now has long flowing dirty blonde hair. Her cloak now clasps on her shoulder rather than wrapping around her neck.

Her hips are also much more defined. She’s also showing much more skin. Instead of her white robes covering her entire arms, it only covers one arm, with her right arm bare except for a brown arm band. Her gloves are also fingerless.

Probably the biggest difference is the way the character is posed and how they are handling their lightsaber. The redesign hints at action as she almost looks like she’s about to charge at you with her lightsaber drawn and pointed to the ground.

The original design simply shows her in a stationary position with her lightsaber drawn and pointed to the sky.

Só a possibilidade de colocarem essa babaca em uma produção relacionada à star wars já me deixa muito puto.É nessas horas que dá vontade de dropar de vez a franquia.

Tô só com Mandalorian, Jedi Fallen Order (de recente), os filmes antigos (por motivos históricos) e terminando de ver as HQs do Boba (pra buscar conhecimento).

Infelizmente, todo o resto depois de 2012 é lixo. Pra mim, esses livros aí não passam de fanfics oficiais. Quem é das antigas vai ignorar e quem é novo nem irá saber que existe. Só meia dúzia de soyboys sojeiros irão consumir essa m**** - visto que nem mesmo o próprio Story Group lê o próprio material que sai da franquia. Virou tudo motivo de piada.

Por fim, essa mina é um câncer - nem os prafrentex a suportam.
Como diria o Mel GIbson, deveria ser "empacotada por uma gangue de niggers e ser jogada num beco".
