Fans of the famous anime One Punch Man were disheartened these past couple of weeks after witnessing the new trailer for the anime’s second season.

“Disappointed is an understatement,” one fan wrote in the YouTube comments. “They just pulled down their pants, mooned the audience, and then took a dump on the whole franchise.”

“The animation was sub-par, to say the least,” another wrote. “I probably won’t be watching this one despite my long history as a fan of the manga. Very disappointing.”

The fan is referring to the animation quality of the trailer. The director of the first season, Shingo Natsume, utilized his deep connections in the industry to produce breath-taking animation that stunned anime fans all over the world. However, he reportedly stepped away from the project’s second season.

“I appreciate my fans, but I have no interest in directing a second season,” Natsume told reporters. “I’ve been hounded for years about this and I want to make it clear: I don’t owe you guys anything. It’s my life. I’m moving on to new projects, and if you don’t like the trailer then maybe you should too.”

However, it turns out that this was all an elaborate ruse. Although it is true that studio J. C. Staff has taken over the production of the second season, the trailer posted in March was intended as a slightly early April Fools joke to throw fans off the scent.

“We would never dishonor such a wonderful anime with sub-par animation like that,” laughed J. C. Staff president Tomoyuki Miyata. “The anime industry is known for high salaries and a passion for producing only the finest of productions for our fans. We take our time producing these projects because we want to make sure our animators’ health stays in good condition.”

The real trailer for One Punch Man 2 remains to be seen, but Miyata says that fans won’t have to wait long. “I expect that the real trailer with much better animation will launch within the next week,” he told an angry mob in front of his house. “So please go home and stop throwing tomatoes at my wife.”

Não achei um desastre a nível Naruto X Pain como muitos profetizaram, mas, me incomodou e muito a tonalidade exagerada e ofuscada principalmente das partes metálicas dos personagens, de resto a animação ficou boa (pô véi nego na internet xingando porque teve muito diálogo, spoiler e muita cena estática, os caras reclamam demais véi)

Essa animação me surpreendeu, pensei que seria algo do nível de black clover.

O negócio teve 12 episódios, recap pra que? Se fosse uns 200 igual Dragon Ball eu nem falava nada.

E o melhor é que será outra minitemporadinha de 12 episódios, o que nos deixará com míseros 11 episódios de conteúdo integralmente inédito.

Depois entra mais hiatão de 3-4 anos para outra minitemporadinha de 12 episódios.

Eu to mais ansioso pra poder ver a segunda abertura do que ver a temporada em si. Seijaku no Apostle parece ser um musicão.

Não achei um desastre a nível Naruto X Pain como muitos profetizaram, mas, me incomodou e muito a tonalidade exagerada e ofuscada principalmente das partes metálicas dos personagens, de resto a animação ficou boa (pô véi nego na internet xingando porque teve muito diálogo, spoiler e muita cena estática, os caras reclamam demais véi)

Eles usaram o jogo de cores para camuflar a falta de detalhes durante a animação
Parece que deixaram a filha do animador que usa desfoque gaussiano nas fotos do flogão ficar responsável pelo tratamento final dos frames.

O primeiro episódio foi bacana, gostei. A qualidade da animação não pareceu ser tão ruim como muitos profetizavam. Ela foi razoável, deu para curtir.

A abertura eu achei sensacional. Quero ver ela em HD, curti mostrarem os outros heróis classe S, bem como Saitama lutando contra Garou e alguns monstros da associação como o Elder Centipede, aquela mulher do chicote, o Gyoro-Gyoro e o Orochi (vibrei quando ele aparece).

Estou com boas expectativas para essa temporada. Próximo episódio vai ter a luta entre Genos e o Speed’O Sonic.

Estou ligado como Opman começou, e a ideia é sim criativa e tem seus méritos. Mas o que fez o anime/mangá estourar foi sim o apelo visual. Se é pra ter batalhas estáticas e de poucos frames (que talvez não seja o caso, precisamos esperar pra ver), é muito mais vantajoso pra qualquer pessoa ler o mangá.

Claro, tem que curtir ler. Eu mesmo dei uma bisbilhotada naquele Yakusoku no Neverland e achei o mangá bem melhor que o anime. No entanto, devido a falta de tempo/paciencia optei pelo anime mesmo. O bom que One Punch man pelo menos tem pouco texto.

Um, né cara hue. Que quote desleal hahaha O que tem de anime com piloto bem animado e que depois descamba, projeto mal estruturado e administrado como flutuações, crise de falta de verba no meio da temporada e por aí vai não tá escrito.

Aliás, provavelmente esse estúdio recebeu a mesma grana que do anterior para fazer essa temporada, e se duvidar teve que utilizar mais recursos até. Uma animação de ponta depende mais de talento e de quem tá na cabeça do projeto do que grana.

Assisto, às vezes, One Piece também, mas esse sempre teve traço zoado e tem 400 anos de idade. Ah, teve aquele anime ruim que assisti ano passado, Seven Deadly Sins, acho que é isso, gostei da animação, só acho o traço meio feio.

Enfim, não sou a melhor pessoa pra falar sobre isso, bem longe, mas citei DB porque realmente é um caso que já começou descambado desde o primeiro EP, apesar que deu uma boa melhorada na última saga.
