Switch clama por um Wii Sports. Venderia oceanos!

Pessoal, quais são os "must have" exclusivos do Switch??

Jogos citados:

- Outer Wilds

Nintendo Life disse:
Switch gamers managed to sidestep the epic Game Name Confusion of 2019 thanks to Outer Wilds not getting released on the platform and the Switch version of The Outer Worlds getting pushed to Q1 2020.

While the latter is an RPG from Obsidian Entertainment in the mould of Fallout: New Vegas which will very soon be landing on Switch courtesy of Virtuos, the former (Outer Wilds) is a mysterious space-based open-world(s) FPS involving a repeating 22-minute time loop which brings to mind the similar cycle found in The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. Made by small team Mobius and published by Annapurna Interactive, we've had our eye on it for a while and we're itching for an announcement.

What are the chances?

Well, Outer Wilds was built in Unity and its stylised art and lonely exploration would make it a perfect fit for Switch. We love a good spot of space exploration and existential ennui. Make it so, Mobius.

- NieR: Automata

Nintendo Life disse:
A returner from the year before last, we'd still very much like to see Platinum Games' award-winning RPG come to Switch at some point. The recent news of a cash injection from Tencent perhaps offers hope that the bandwidth might become available at Platinum to make a Switch version a reality - something that the game's director Yoko Taro has expressed a desire for, but that may be wishful thinking. The game suffered from technical hitches at launch and would require some serious work to get running on Switch.

Unlikely, then?

Well, we've seen some stunning ports and there's no reason NieR: Automata couldn't make its way to Switch given the appropriate attention. The real question is if Platinum has the time and inclination to devote to such a project. Fingers crossed, still.

- Persona 5

Nintendo Life disse:
Despite our supreme confidence that Persona 5 would be heading to Switch, it has failed to materialise. PS4 is getting an updated version known as Persona 5 Royal with extra content, but that too is skipping Switch. We are receiving Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers, a Musou crossover which looks great, but the original stylish RPG is AWOL on Switch. Remember, this is a game which came out on PlayStation 3, so there's very little doubt as to whether Nintendo's console could 'handle' it. Switch has become home to a stellar lineup of JRPGs and Joker was the first DLC fighter to join Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, so Persona 5's continued absence is baffling.

So, is it still - ahem - "a dead cert" then?

Hmm. To quote ourselves from last year: "you can bet your house on this being announced in an early 2019 Nintendo Direct." Well, you win some, you lose some! Having lost the roof over our head 12 months ago, we're a tad more cautious when it comes to predictions these days, but it still makes eminent sense to put Persona 5 on Switch, and we can't think of one good reason why not. We'll eat our hat if this one doesn't come... to a Nintendo console at some unspecified point in the future.

There, is that vague enough to avoid us chewing our own headwear?

- Shenmue 3

Nintendo Life disse:
As regular readers of the site may have noticed, Nintendo Life blood courses through our veins but we've also got a healthy love for old rivals Sega, too. Yu Suzuki's seminal Shenmue stands as a monument to unbridled ambition; a Dreamcast game from a time when anything seemed possible and the future was a clear blue sky...

We all know what happened to the Dreamcast, of course, but its untimely demise preserved it somehow in our memories, trapped in an amber of gaming optimism when Sega still made video game hardware, and Shenmue was a big part of that era. A colossal folly to some and a treasure to others, its unlikely return via a hugely successful Kickstarter campaign was cause for celebration even if you'd never played the original.

By all accounts, the third game is very much a return to the mundane mechanics, awkward dialogue and sweeping narrative of the first two, as if it was developed only a couple of years after Shenmue II rather than a decade-and-a-half later. It isn't for everyone, then, but we'd love then chance to catch up with Ryo on-the-go.

What are the chances?

It's an Unreal Engine 4 game, which Switch supports, but such is its niche nature that the biggest barrier to entry is probably sales projections. It's also worth noting that Sony helped fund development, which might complicate matters. However, Sony is more open than ever to cross-platform co-operation than ever before, so who knows.

If Sega was willing, ports of the HD versions of the first two games would be welcome, too. The last time we fired up our trusty Dreamcast the disc drive sounded like it was grinding coffee beans.

- Resident Evil 2

Nintendo Life disse:
Capcom's approach to Switch releases has been somewhat patchy. The crop of Resident Evil ports we've seen come to Nintendo's console have varied in quality from 'serviceable' to 'disappointing', so expecting the company to pull a cat out of the bag and put out a sparkling port of one of this generation's finest games (remake or not) is probably expecting too much. Resident Evil 2 was built using the same engine as Resident Evil 7 - a game which is technically available on Switch, but only in Japan and only via cloud streaming - so an awful lot of optimisation work would be necessary to get the game running acceptably on Nintendo's handheld.

What are the chances?

Frankly, we don't have the confidence in Capcom to do it right. We'd be ecstatic to be proved wrong, and a fine Switch version of REmake 2 would surely sell by the shedload, but with Capcom having already moved on to remaking Resident Evil 3, it seems less likely. Still, we love surprises.

- Disco Elysium

Nintendo Life disse:
An award-winning isometric RPG with and open-world, innovative mechanics and great writing, Disco Elysium would be a welcome most welcome on Switch. Its rich detective story and richer web of overlapping systems picked up multiple GOTY gongs and despite dealing in some tired video game tropes (player character amnesia, for example), this indie game manages to subvert expectations and deliver a truly memorable game. On PC.

What are the chances?

It's coming to PS4 and Xbox One this year, so dev team ZA/UM must have considered whether it could scale down to Switch. Probably the biggest challenge in porting the game would be to rework the text and the UI to make it readable on the handheld screen, but that's a challenge other games in the genre have risen to. The portability of Switch would seem to be a great match for a dialogue-heavy RPG and the game's success presumably gives the makers the resources to make it happen.

- Apex Legends

Nintendo Life disse:
Set in the universe of Titanfall 2, Respawn's Apex Legends if a f2p Battle Royale game that integrates Titanfall-style gameplay with innovative little additions to the genre. The 'ping' system specifically was a fantastic method of allowing players without headsets (or those who prefer to bypass verbal communication and/or unsavoury language) to easily and quickly 'ping' objects, direct teammates and participate actively without having to listen to XC0R3gamUR420's ill-informed political opinions or colourful epithets.

Of course, Fortnite swiftly pilfered - sorry, integrated - the 'ping' system itself, but Apex has held its own against the BR big boys and we'd love to see it join the ranks of free games on Switch.

What are the chances?

Respawn has heard the call for Apex Legends on Switch loud and clear. If resources weren't tight, it would no doubt already be on Nintendo's handheld, but what with Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, the studio has had its hands full recently. Of course, EA (owners of Respawn) doesn't have the best record when it comes to Switch and its assessments of what Nintendo gamers want (as the regurgitated 'Legacy' editions of FIFA attest), but it's tough to argue against the potential audience that a Switch port could tap into.

- Control

Nintendo Life disse:
The latest game from Max Payne and Alan Wake studio Remedy Entertainment, Control is a third-person action-adventure that channels the conspiratorial spirit of The X-Files, Twin Peaks and Lost - all the old favourites - into a surreal adventure that sees the protagonist wielding superpowers in order to contain and, yes, control supernatural phenomena.

Twisting and turning like a twisty-turny thing, Control received a host of Game of the Year awards (and came second in our sister site Push Square's reader-voted Top 10 Games of 2019), so the reason we want it on Switch is obvious: it's a rather good video game.

What are the chances?

We'd say that the biggest obstacle to a Switch port of Control is a technical one. If you're lucky enough to have a mighty PC rig, that version supports fancy-pants ray tracing and looks exceptionally lovely. On the other home consoles though, performance was less than solid at launch, especially on the standard PS4 and Xbox One models where frame rates took a substantial hit. Getting the game to run smoothly on Switch would be quite the feat, and with Remedy busy making expansions for the game, it seems unlikely that the time, energy and resources exist to bring Control to Switch at the moment. Still, we'd love to be wrong.

- Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice

Nintendo Life disse:
FromSoftware's latest puts a samurai spin on Dark Souls while scaling back some of the granular stats and RPG elements of its most famous series and infusing the balletic combat with stealth elements and tools such as a grappling hook. The result is very different to the Souls series despite sharing plenty of DNA. It also lacks any of the online multiplayer components of the Souls games, which would make it a good fit on Switch when you're out and about without WiFi.

What are the chances?

Not great, we're afraid. Again, it's the technical side that would make the Switch version challenging. If the will was there, we're certain it could be done effectively - have you seen Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice on Switch? - but we wonder if the impetus exists over at FromSoftware. We'd love to see it but we're not holding our breath.

- Metroid Prime Trilogy

Nintendo Life disse:
Oh, we couldn't resist. Of the ten games in this selection, this would be the absolute easiest to get running on Switch - little more than pressing the 'Port To Switch' button on the Video Game Maker machine at Nintendo HQ...

We're being facetious, of course, although compared to the vast amount of optimisation and workarounds the others would require, getting an old Wii game running on Switch should be child's play. The whole world wants it, and with Nintendo on radio silence when it comes to Metroid Prime 4, this would be the perfect way to keep Metroid fans onside as we await the fruits of Retro Studios' labours.

What are the chances?

Over the years we'e become convinced that the odds of Nintendo doing the obvious thing that fans are crying out for are in direct opposition to the vocal passion and desires of said fans. So, in an effort to hoodwink this imagined 'system', we're going to say that Nintendo will never, ever put Metroid Prime Trilogy HD on Switch. Never gonna happen. Same with Mother 3. Definitely no way that's going to be given a Link's Awakening-style makeover and finally see release in the west. No sirree, never. Never.

  • Remaster dos Oracle of Ages / Seasons
  • Algum Ice Climber remodelado
  • Mario Strikers novo
  • Port do Diablo 4

  • Apex;
  • NieR Automata
  • Shenmue 3
  • MPT

Quem jogou no Wii e no Switch, saberá a diferença.
