Titãs – Novo teaser da série mostra as identidades civis e heroicas dos personagens

Faltando pouco mais de duas semanas para a estreia de Titãs, primeira série em live-action do DC Universe, plataforma de streaming exclusiva da DC Comics, os fãs estão ansiosos para descobrir se a adaptação fará jus à equipe dos quadrinhos.

Para promover o lançamento, a plataforma lançou um vídeo promocional em seu Instagram, que mescla as identidades civis e heroicas dos personagens, mostrando que eles serão bem diferentes quando estiverem usando seus poderes.

No vídeo, vemos Dick, Rachel, Gar e Kory, que se transformam nos heróis Robin, Ravena, Mutano e Estelar, os principais integrantes da equipe. Vale lembrar que a série também contará com a presença de Rapina e Columba, que também devem fazer parte da equipe, além de aparições de Jason Todd, que será o Robin substituto de Dick Grayson.

Bom, olhando pelo lado positivo: Mutano assume as formas dos animais (embora ainda não fique muito claro se os efeitos especiais ficarão convincentes). E, pelo lado negativo, parece que a coloração peculiar de sua pele (bem como a da Estelar) só é assumida enquanto ele utiliza seu poder.

Também não entendi. É bom sabermos em que data passará por aqui, porque na DC Universe serão todos os episódios de uma vez só em 12/10.

Acho que essa série vai cagar tanto que a caracterização no fim vai ser o menor dos problemas, espero estar muito enganado.

E que bom que vai sair pela netflix, o serviço da DC é novo demais e nem deve valer a pena pra eles ter suporte no mundo todo, mas é bom aproveitar que quando tiver maior essas séries devem ser retiradas do catálogo da netflix, e também pouca ter q baixar torrent kkkk

Negative Man em Patrulha do Destino (outro ator...estranho)

Matt Bomer Cast as Negative Man on 'Doom Patrol'
It looks like DC Universe's Doom Patrol has just found its latest star.

The streaming service has announced that Matt Bomer has been cast as Larry Trainor/Negative man in Doom Patrol.


Bomer is best known for his roles on White Collar, American Horror Story, and Glee. The nerd world has been campaigning for Bomer to join a comic book role for quite some time, with his name recently being tossed around by fans for a potential replacement for Superman.

In the comics, Larry Trainor is a test pilot, who accidentally is fused with radioactive energy during an accident. This gives Larry the ability to release a "Negative Man" from his body, who has the ability to fly, phase through things, and explode. Larry and Negative Man have a unique relationship, with Larry in danger of dying if separated from the spirit for too long. Larry is also forced to keep an Invisible Man-esque appearance, wearing bandages wrapped around his face.


Dwain Murphy was already cast as Negative Man in the Doom Patrol's appearance on Titans, and appears to be reprising the role in early Doom Patrol set photos. This could indicate that Bomer's role will involve flashbacks and voiceover, similarly to Brendan Fraser's casting as Robotman, but fans will just have to wait and see to find out.

Doom Patrol will see Bomer's Negative Man joined by Elasti-Girl (April Bowlby) and Robotman (Jake Michaels), all of whom will be reprising their roles from a forthcoming appearance on Titans. The series will also include Diane Guerrero as Crazy Jane, Jovian Wade as Cyborg, and Brendan Frasier as the voice of Robotman. Timothy Dalton was cast as the group's leader, The Chief, and the team will be going up against Alan Tudyk's Mr. Nobody.

A série já foi renovada par a segunda temporada e já se sabe o que fazer até a terceira e é provável que seja 3 ou mais.

Oficialmente anunciaram a série como a primeira R-Rated do gênero de super-heróis.

The the premiere of Titans coming to DC Universe in one week, fans are speculating about the future of the superhero series based on the classic Teen Titans comic books. It turns out, we might be getting a classic villain in the very near future.

While speaking during the DC Universe panel at New York Comic Con, series writer and producer Geoff Johns teased that a fan-favorite storyline will be tackled in future episodes, leading to an updated take on Deathstroke the Terminator. ComicBook.com was on hand, getting the latest information straight from the mouth of Johns himself.


When talking about a possible adaptation of "The Judas Contract," Johns told the audience at the panel that they "would be fools not to," Johns said. Given that Deathstroke is the major villain in that comic storyline, Titans would have to introduce him on the series sooner than later.

"You'll see Deathstroke in Titans eventually, but it will be a new version," said Johns.


It will be interesting how the new series tackles that storyline, given that it's already a bit darker with some controversial moments between Deathstroke and Terra. But given the harder edge on Titans, it seems like it will be right in place with the tone the series is striking.

ComicBook.com's review for the first few episodes of Titans was just posted, and our own Charlie Ridgely praised the sensibilities of the new series.


"There are certainly things in Titans that won't work for everyone," the review states. "The show can be a bit a cheesy at times, and you might wonder if it's taking itself to seriously. There are also just a few kinks in the scripts -- slight pacing issues and a couple of lines that fall completely flat -- but they are few and far between. For every moment that I thought about groaning, there are at least seven at which I laughed, cheered, or silently pumped my fist."

There is a lot of opportunity for the future of the show and the streaming platform in general, as they're not planning to build a shared universe right off the bat.

Acabei de assistir a um trecho. Cena de ação do Robin fodástica e extremamente violenta. Muito violenta mesmo como não vi em outra série de herói. É realmente R-Rated.

Existem diferentes divisões e contratos. Um pode aparecer em uma série mas é proibido de aparecer em outra em outro canal. Divisão de filme tem prioridade e se os executivos falarem que não pode mais aparecer na TV, então não pode. É uma putaria absurda.
