Retro Demos To Feature In Smash Bros.
Friday 25-Jan-2008 10:54 AM Brawl lets you play old Nintendo masterpieces
Another day, yet another genius new feature for Super Smash Bros. Brawl. This feature is called Masterpieces and it enables you to play demos of games featuring Brawl's challengers, including Super Mario Bros., Super Metroid and The Legend Of Zelda.
Of course Nintendo veterans will know what these games are all about but newcomers might not know who all the characters are so the idea is to give them a bit of a history lesson with these demos. Great idea, we say.
So in addition to Mario, Metroid and Zelda, you can play Ice Climber, Kid Icarus (featuring Pit), Kirby's Adventure and the brilliant Lylat Wars.
These are just demos so they will finish after a period of time but, if you like what you've played, you can connect to Wi-Fi Connection and download them on Virtual Console.
Yet that's not all. There are still more demos featuring other challengers that have yet to be revealed. We'll keep you informed...
