https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodestone/topics/detail/b2bf98053941a7b07e8d80ee41216f5aef769c60

・Expressões discriminatórias baseadas em raça / nacionalidade / pensamento / gênero / orientação sexual / identidade de gênero;
Pensamento?
・ Expressões que provocam ou menosprezam outra pessoa, como excesso de crítica, negação / ridicularização;
・ Expressões que qualquer pessoa razoável acharia ofensivas;
・ Outras expressões que são ofensivas para outras pessoas;

We have hereby made significant changes to the “Prohibited Activities” and related “Account Penalty Policy” and “Guidelines for Game Master(GM) Actions(GM Policy)” in FINAL FANTASY XIV. These include changes to our fundamental policies.
Please review the updated policies below.
* The GM policy will not be disclosed as it contains internal information.
Although the “SQUARE ENIX ACCOUNT TERMS OF USE,” “FINAL FANTASY® XIV User Agreement,” and “FINAL FANTASY ® XIV Materials Usage License” have not been changed, we strongly encourage players to take this opportunity to review and become familiarized with them.
The aforementioned agreements can be viewed here.
■Reasons for the changes
Until now, we have operated under the philosophy that “this is an MMORPG and frequent in-game intervention by SQUARE ENIX would inhibit player experience.” Under this philosophy in mind, GMs have intervened only in cases of racial or sexual discrimination or other severe cases.
GMs would not actively take action against other types of behavior that were deemed to be “annoying but not crossing the line from an objective eye.” Instead encouraging the involved players to resolve the situation through communication, adding the players to the blacklist or other peaceful methods.
However, times have changed and although FINAL FANTASY is an MMORPG, it is now our belief that it is better for the community as a whole for us to “intervene in situations where a player is subjected to the abusive behavior of another player,” rather than “worrying about inhibiting communication between players.”
As this change in course requires changes to our fundamental policies, and such a change would be difficult to reverse, we spent considerable time carefully reviewing its potential impact. Ultimately, we came to the conclusion that it is better for the community as a whole for us to clamp down on abusive behavior and have decided to move forward with this major change.
Needless to say, everyone will have their own view on a situation, so a GM will continue to provide an objective eye. With a more proactive approach to in-game conflicts, we will strive to protect players who are considerate towards others and provide a high quality service in which players can play in a more comfortable and safe environment.
Note that penalties have been adjusted so that appropriate action can be taken against offensive players depending on the severity of their offense.
To keep our players safe, we will continue to keep track of trends both in online games and in the real world, as well as remaining vigilant of the social norms of our time.
We thank you all for your continued support of FINAL FANTASY XIV.

Prohibitions in Final Fantasy XIV
■Prohibited Behaviour in Final Fantasy XIV
In Final Fantasy XIV, obstructive behaviour that has an adverse impact on other users' game play and on service operation is prohibited. Such behaviour violates the Final Fantasy XIV User Agreement and Square Enix Account Terms of Use, and may violate other Square Enix policies or terms of use, including the Final Fantasy XIV Forum Guidelines. If a violation is confirmed as a result of our investigation, Square Enix may, in its sole discretion, apply a penalty to the relevant Final Fantasy XIV service account. Please refer to "Account Penalty Policy" for details of the penalties.
The following list identifies some of the activities that are prohibited in, or in connection with Final Fantasy XIV and other Square Enix services. This list provides general guidelines and is not exhaustive. When in doubt, Square Enix urges its players to err on the side of caution and to treat other players with civility and respect. Square Enix reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to (i) determine which activities are prohibited or violate Square Enix’s policies or terms of use, (ii) enforce such policies and terms of use, and (iii) revise this list.
Square Enix’s privacy policies may prevent Square Enix from disclosing information about investigations or disciplinary action Square Enix may have taken against players engaged in prohibited activities.
We thank you in advance for your understanding.
■Harassment
"Harassment" means speech and/or behaviour that inflicts deep emotional distress on another person. It is an extremely serious violation. Where Square Enix determines that harassment has occurred, a penalty equal to or higher than "Temporary Service Account Suspension" may be imposed.
Below is a non-exhaustive list of behaviour that could constitute harassment in Final Fantasy XIV:
・Discriminatory expressions based on race/nationality/thinking/gender/sexual orientation/gender identity
・Discriminatory expressions about a state/religion/occupation/organisation, etc.
・Obscene/indecent expressions
・Actions that inflict emotional distress using content related to historical events or crimes
・Stalking
・Disclosing or indicating personal information such as contact details with the aim of meeting up in the real world
・Disclosing or indicating another person's real world personal information without permission
・Other actions that are generally regarded as actions that inflict deep emotional distress on another person
These are prohibited in all places where expressions can be made, including chat (including Quick Chat and Emote), markers, comments and names. With regard to character names, if a phrase equating to harassment is formed within the full name, this is also regarded as harassment. In the case of a group action, all of the members involved will be subject to penalties.
There may be other types of harassment that do not fit into any of the categories described above. Square Enix may determine that conduct constitutes harassment, even if such conduct is not expressly prohibited herein.
■Nuisance behaviour
"Nuisance behaviour" means speech or behaviour that hurts others or obstructs game play, but which is not classified as harassment. Even if it was not the intention, a penalty may be imposed if the end result was that another person was hurt or obstructed.
Below is a non-exhaustive list of examples of nuisance behaviour:

(Except when in accordance with rules set by an administrator such as a Free Company Master)
・Expressions that contravene public order and morals
・Other expressions that are offensive to another person
Offensive expressions are prohibited in all places where expressions can be made in Final Fantasy XIV, including chat (including Quick Chat and Emote), markers, comments and names. Use of an offensive expression in the form of a character name is also regarded as nuisance behaviour.

The following behaviour is also prohibited.
■Real Money Trading (RMT)

Sharing, lending, or disclosing your account information may result in the user unexpectedly losing his or her accounts to third parties. Square Enix may disable shared, lent, disclosed, or compromised accounts.
