Someone claiming to be a "soon-to-be-former-WB-employee" has posted details on what they say is the upcoming game from Warner Bros. Montreal, the studio behind the Batman Arkham series. According to this soon-to-be-former-WB-employee, who goes by IAmBatmanArkham on Reddit, Warner Bros. Montreal is working on a new Batman Arkham game, called Batman: Arkham Insurgency, which will be a sequel to Origins.
IAmBatmanArkham says that they are quitting Warner Bros. Montreal because of "WB's shitty attitude towards their employees" and because a "massive round of layoffs" are coming up with "almost half" of IAmBatmanArkham's team up to be fired.
The developer detailed Batman: Arkham Insurgency will feature Batman in a darker Batsuit, that is less bulky and more "ninja/black-ops-style."
Warner Bros. teased a March 8th announcement not too long ago and the developer provided some potential details on this, saying that we will more than likely be seeing "an announcement trailer, a story synopsis and some details on the gameplay."
Here's the main text from the individual claiming to be a Warner Bros. developer:
IAmBatmanArkham went on to suggest that the rumor about a canceled Suicide Squad game was true, as is the rumor that a Damian Wayne Batman game is in development. The developer detailed that the Damian Wayne game is stuck in "development hell," but had the goal of releasing in late 2018.
- The game is called Batman: Arkham Insurgency and it takes place about 3 years after the events of Arkham Origins. It's built on the same engine as Arkham Knight was and has been in development since around 2014.
- The game will feature Batman and Dick Grayson as Robin as the main playable characters. Grayson has been Robin for about two years at this point.
- It's set in a previously unexplored, coastal area of Gotham that is roughly the same size as the three islands from Arkham Knight on the outside, although the interiors have been substantially expanded so you will be able to get inside most of the buildings now. The Batcave and Wayne Manor are also accessible via fast travel.
- The plot is that there has been a mass breakout at Blackgate and Arkham Asylum, and several terrorist attacks across the city, which results in the GCPD blocking off a segment of Gotham where they have completely lost control. This is the main playable area and while it's mostly populated by villains and criminals, there's a whole heap of trapped civilians that Batman and Robin will need to rescue.
- The Batmobile is in the game, but it's been changed. There's no more battle mode but the controls have been modified to compensate. The combat mostly consists of chase sequences and using the Batmobile's superior speed and maneuverability to navigate around slower opponents while bombing the hell out of them with the car's weaponry. The missiles, power winch and the EMP device remain, along with some new stuff.
- Dual play mode is also present, but it's been changed. The dual takedown has been removed but there's a whole bunch of new special moves and combos in its place. There's an entire new skill tree devoted to the mechanic.
- Combat has been expanded to better accommodate 1-on-1 fights. It's still rhythm based where you have to time all the correct button presses exactly, but it's more complicated than the attack/counter basis of the previous games.
- Owlman and the Court of Owls are the main villains of the game – although Owlman is really the main focus, especially when he murders all the other members of the Court towards the end of the game and starts targeting Batman's allies. It's revealed that the Court views Batman's heroics as a threat to their control, so they organize a criminal uprising to take him out. The Talons are also present as elite enemies who you never fight more than 3 at a time as just one character, or 4 to 5 as both characters.
- Other villains in the game are Maxie Zeus, Dollmaker, Killer Moth, Anarky, Two-Face, Blockbuster, Ventriloquist, Cornelius Stirk, Tweedledee and Tweedledum, Dusan al Ghul, Mad Monk, Dala, Riddler and yes, Joker. Joker figures somewhat prominently in the story (it's revealed that he helped orchestrate the Arkham Asylum breakout), but he's not the main villain but more of a major supporting character who mostly works for himself, but will sometimes help Batman and Robin if it benefits him.
- Alfred and Lucius Fox are your main contacts in the game. Barbara Gordon helps you out on a few side missions and has a slight crush on Dick Grayson, which he doesn't reciprocate.
- Unlike Arkham Knight, there will actually be boss battles this time.
- The estimated release date is around November of this year, but it's possible that it could be pushed back seeing as the game was meant to be revealed towards the end of last year but was delayed.
As for that rumored Superman game from Rocksteady, the Batman Arkham devs? The developer detailed that Rocksteady is working on a game related to the Arkham universe and they aren't sure if it's Superman or not, "but probably."

Do Damian Wayne é rumor de 2016
WB May Have Leaked the Next Big Batman Game, or Is It a Suicide Squad Game?
By ComicBook Staff - November 26, 2016
Recent promotional and recruitment footage from WB Montreal may have just leaked a new Batman game starring Bruce Wayne's son, Damien, that was rumored to be in the works some time ago. I'm about to lead you through a twisted trail of rumors and bread-crumbs, but we're on a fast-track to the hype train; I'm going to make this all quick and painless for you. Here we go:
Back in June, rumors started circulating that two new games were in development my WB Montreal. This is the studio that developed Batman: Arkham Origins which, while less popular than the mainline Arkham game trilogy, boasts the best story in the entire franchise. It's one of the best super hero games ever made, so a new Batman game from this studio is something worth getting excited about.
That's not all, though. We heard that the same studio is working on some kind of Suicide Squad game as well - an open world brawler of some kind. Sounds pretty bizarre right? Easy to write off, at any rate. Then September came with a little corroboration. A NeoGAF member, vetted by moderators, posted the following information in regard to these games:
"Indeed, WB Montreal is working on two games right now.
Suicide Squad, in which they go help from Rocksteady.
- is a brawler
- you create your own avatar, grow it out, with tiers of rewards
- many characters to choose
- coop-action
- Borderlands esque
- targeted for 2017 release.
Next game is the Damian Wayne game.
- has been greenlit last summer
- 10 years in the future (I think our future from 10 years now, not quite Batman Beyond)
- Bruce is old and has a beard
- harness on his leg
- uses a walking stick
- is mentoring Damian Wayne to be the new Batman
- Damian has a Batbike
- lots of great characters and also new ones, lot's or redesigns, like Black Mask being a female
- Dick's in it, has a shaved head
- some other villains are Flamingo, Poison Ivy and White Rabbit(old, looks like a granny)
Game is starting to roll in production, so we might no see it for a while, but I am very excited. "
Back to present day. WB Montreal has posted some videos about it expanding the DC Universe in the interactive space, and the videos show a few clips of what seems to be an open-world game in development. WCCF Tech was even able to score a screen-cap of a frame that clearly shows Batman on-screen. That video has since been removed. Ding ding! I think we're onto something here.

Whether we're looking at Damien Wayne as the new Batman, or a Batman character in the Suicide Squad brawler, we can't say. We can say that we're tremendously excited to learn more about these games, and assuming that one of them is due to launch next year, maybe we can look forward to a reveal at this year's PlayStation Experience? To find out, stay tuned to WWG.

Novo Rumor:
The Wayne Enterprises building can be seen in the background. There is an Epic trademark, most likely because of Unreal Engine 4 being used, but we all know what this means for the PC release.
The game is possibly a multiplayer GaaS title outlined in this leak posted a few days ago: https://www.resetera.com/threads/4c...marketing-plans-release-date-and-info.112048/
