AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT Reportedly Faster than NVIDIA RTX 3080 w/ >2.5GHz Boost Clock

AMD’s Radeon RX 6000 series is just days away from being unveiled, and we’ve started seeing a fair number of leaks pertaining to the specifications of the new cards. As per a reputed source, board partner RX 6800 XTs feature a boost clock higher than 2.5GHz, with an average “game clock of 2.3-2.4GHz. The card tested here is the ASUS ROG RX 6800 XT Strix, one of the higher-end factory OC models.

ElMDM7jU8AAb-kx-788x1024.jpg

The Radeon RX 6800 XT is expected to battle it out with the GeForce RTX 3080 at 1440p and 4K. Although the latter is expected to feature better ray-tracing capabilities, along with DLSS 2.0, Big Navi is supposedly to be slightly faster in pure raster workloads and cost less as well.

As per RGT, AMD will showcase the performance of the Radeon RX 6800 XT across ten titles, with Big Navi winning in 5, leveling in 2, and the RTX 3080 winning in the remaining three.

Although we can’t confirm the validity of the above leak, it’s reasonable considering the leaked 3DMark benchmarks we’ve already seen.

"Vazaram" alguns detalhes sobre as versões "mobile" (para notebooks) da series RTX 30

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 Mobility Lineup Allegedly Leaked, RTX 3080 Max-Q, RTX 3070 Max-Q & RTX 3060 Max Q/P In The Works

NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 30 series mobility lineup is allegedly in the works with team green prepping up at least four variants based on its Ampere GPU architecture. The leak comes from DCinside (via Harukaze5719) who have reported that the first specifications for the high-end mobility lineup are being sent out to partners and we can expect an announcement by CES 2021.

NVIDIA Preps At Least Four GeForce RTX 30 Mobility Series GPUs - Include RTX 3080, RTX 3070 & RTX 3060 Max-Q / Max-P Series

As per the source, NVIDIA has sent out initial specifications and is shipping the first "Priority" orders for its GeForce RTX 30 series mobility GPUs. The GeForce RTX 30 series mobility lineup will replace the existing GeForce RTX 20 series mobility lineup based on the Turing GPU architecture and offer improved performance though we don't know if the TGPs will be kept similar to the existing parts or increased just like the desktop variants. We might see a bigger difference in TGPs between the Max-Q (efficiency optimized) and Max-P (performance optimized) SKUs this generation compared to all last gens.

NVIDIA-GeForce-RTX-30-Mobile-Series-1.jpg

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 Series Mobility GPU lineup has allegedly leaked out. (Image Credits: DCInside via @harukaze5719)
As for the lineup, it looks like NVIDIA will be offering at least four variants in its GeForce RTX 30 GPU lineup for notebooks and laptops.
These include the GeForce RTX 3080, GeForce RTX 3070, GeForce RTX 3060, and their subsequent Max-Q/Max-P flavors. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Max-Q is said to only feature a Max-Q variant which might be due to the Max-P variant being too power-hungry for the mobility market. We can expect specifications close to the GeForce RTX 3080 desktop cards but with heavily reduced clock speeds. There's also a big possibility that NVIDIA utilizes GDDR6 dies rather than GDDR6X to power the RTX 3080 Max-Q graphics card.

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 will also come in the Max-Q flavor only. The graphics chip may also feature the same specs as the desktop variant but with heavily optimized clocks & TDP figures. With that said, the card is listed for enthusiasts and high-end notebooks featuring Intel's Core i7 H-series processors. The GeForce RTX 3070 mobility GPU already leaked out a while ago and featured SK Hynix's GDDR6 memory rated at 1.2V with speeds of 12 Gbps compared to 14 Gbps for desktop variants.

Lastly, there's also the GeForce RTX 3060 which would either feature a cut-down GA104 or a GA106 GPU. The GPU will also be available in Max-Q and Max-P variants. Once again, we will see the GPUs featured in a range of laptops and notebooks available next year. Intel is also expected to launch its Tiger Lake-H laptops with 8 cores and 16 threads next year which would also be integrated with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 series graphics lineup and compete against AMD's RDNA 2 based Radeon RX 6000 series and Intel's DG2 "Xe-HPG" mobility offerings in 2021.

Nisso a placa fica super fria!

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 to see better availability at launch
NVIDIA is slowly preparing to launch its GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card, the 499 USD model designed for 1440p gaming. Due to a very uncertain situation with Ampere availability, we have been regularly checking on the Ampere availability report from a Danish retailer ProShop. The retailer lists how many cards have been ordered from factories, how many have shipped to customers, how many have shipped to ProShop from AIBs, and more importantly, how many are already in stock waiting for first orders.

The current stock information is indeed very interesting. We can already see that RTX 3070 will be a lot more available than RTX 3080 and RTX 3090 at launch, which has been the sole reason for the launch postponement, according to NVIDIA. Pro shop now has 206 graphics cards ready for a sale (which will start on October 29th), compared to 106 units available last week.

Further confirmation of a larger RTX 3070 quantity at launch has already arrived from Japan. PC Watch has received word from retailers selling PC hardware in the Akihabara tech market in Tokyo. They have confirmed that RTX 3070 should indeed see ‘considerably larger availability’ than RTX 3090/3080 series.

We have also been able to confirm directly with AIBs that the availability of the RTX 3070 should be counted in thousands per region. Although we cannot share the exact number, as it varies on each manufacturer, we are being told that at least 4x as many cards should be available compared to GA102-based models.
Interestingly, we have also been told that the same availability is expected from RTX 3060 Ti, the model that NVIDIA has not yet confirmed, but distributors are already taking orders on these cards as well.

Palit showcases its GeForce RTX 3070 JetStream series

The manufacturer has already revealed the designs of its GameRock and GamingPro series. The JetStream models have not yet been shown for either RTX 3090/3080 or 3070 SKUs.

The teaser comes from Palit’s social media, where the graphics card which was clearly labeled as RTX 3070. This SKU is expected to have a much lower TGP than GA102-based RTX 3090/3080 models (220W vs 320/350W). What remains unclear is whether Palit has plans for the GA102-based JetStream series at this time.
The graphics card has a very short PCB, which ends almost in the middle of the card’s length. Unfortunately, this is where the dual 8-pin power connectors are located, meaning that cable management might be a problem.

Palit’s RTX 3070 JetStream does not appear to have a lot of RGB lightning, or so does the teaser seem to indicate. It looks like the JetStream logo located on the front might be the only part that lits up. Overall, the 3070 JetStream is kept in a full black design with the backplate extending beyond the card’s length. This is where the fan will push the hot air through the exposed heatsink, similar to NVIDIA Ampere Founders Edition cards.

The manufacturer confirms it will reveal the full specifications of RTX 3070 JetStream on October 29th when RTX 3070 officially goes on sale.

It's finally here- the new #Palit RTX 3070 #JetStream Series graphics card.

(efeito AMD Big Navi?)

Just days before RTX 3070 launch the rumor mill is clearly not stopping.
NVIDIA PG132-SKU35 with 7424 CUDA cores

The third variant of NVIDIA Ampere GA102 has received a board number and SKU number, according to @kopite7kimi. It is alleged that the new graphics card would fill the gap between GeForce RTX 3080 and RTX 3070 models, both based on different GPUs.
The name of the graphics card has not been revealed (but we are working on it). However, it is expected that the graphics card would be called RTX 3070 Ti. It is important to note that older roadmaps (which we have seen), already had 3070 Ti listed, but with a different board number and different GPU. Thus, if we are correct about the model name, then NVIDIA has upgraded the SKU with a better GPU.

The PG132 SKU 35 is to feature GA102-150 GPU with 7424 CUDA cores. It would also feature the same memory configuration as RTX 3080 – 10 GB GDDR6X, not GDDR6 non-X as RTX 3070, which is launching in 3 days.
Kopite not only confirmed the board number but also the TGP. It is alleged that the graphics card would feature the same TGP as RTX 3080 – 320W.
The new model is expected to tackle Radeon RX 6800 XL (an alleged name for the lowest-tier Navi 21 graphics card, according to @KittyYYuko). The AMD model will be revealed on October 28th, so just in 2 days.

We are not yet ready to confirm what Kopite7kimi has posted is correct, but we did make proper inquiries that should help us pin down all the details. More information soon.

Colorful iGame RTX 3090 Vulcan X OC

Just a bit over a month after the release of NVIDIA RTX 3090, Colorful has finally released its iGame Vulcan X OC custom model. This particular SKU is currently the flagship graphics card in the Colorful offer, that is, until the release of iGame KUDAN.

The iGame Vulcan X OC is a triple-slot and triple-fan design with a length of 31cm. The most innovative feature of this model is the side-mounted screen. Of course, we have already seen graphics cards with LCDs (Colorful has been one of the first manufacturers to implement color displays), but it has recently become more common for ultra-premium models. Even Gigabyte is now offering AORUS RTX 30 series with LCD panels. But the innovative part from Colorful is not just the screen, but the fact that it rotates. Thus it can be used whenever the GPU is installed vertically and horizontally.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 features GA102-300 GPU with 10496 CUDA cores, 328 Tensor cores, and 82 RT cores. This flagship Ampere RTX series SKU is equipped with 24 GB of GDDR6X memory clocked at 19.5 Gbps, which is just 65 Gb/s short of reaching 1 TB/s maximum memory bandwidth.
The graphics card is equipped with triple 8-pin power connectors attached to a full custom PCB design with a 14+8+4 power stage design. Colorful is one of the very few manufacturers who lists the exact custom TGP for their models. That said the RTX 3090 Vulcan X OC has a TGP of 390W, 20W more than RTX 3080 Vulcan X OC, and 40W higher than RTX 3090 Founders Edition. The GA102-300 based iGame Vulcan X OC features factory-overclocking to 1785 MHz, which is applied with a one-click BIOS switch as seen on an I/O bracket.
Colorful iGame RTX 3080 Vulcan X OC is not yet listed by any retailer, hence the price remains unknown. We have been told by Colorful that the card should become available starting from this week.

The RTX 3080 model has recently been reviewed by TechPowerUP. The review demonstrates how the side-mounted screen works.

Mais do "efeito" AMD Big Navi?:kpensa

As RTX 3060 TI estão "chegando" :kcool

RTX 3060 Ti already on preorder in China
The GA104-200 based NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti is now listed by retailers on Taobao. The graphics card is not expected to launch until mid-November. NVIDIA has not yet confirmed the graphics card publically, but we expect official news very soon, possibly right after the manufacturer announces GeForce RTX 3070 (October 29th).

The RTX 3060 Ti is a new mid-range graphics card that should sell for under 400 USD. The listings at Taobao are currently between 2049 to 2999 Yuans (305 to 446 USD). Our sources claim that NVIDIA MSRP should not exceed 400 USD.

The graphics card offers 4864 CUDA cores paired with 8GB of GDDR6 memory. The retailers seem to believe that the new Ampere SKU should be faster than GeForce RTX 2080, which shouldn’t be really that surprising, considering that RTX 3070 is advertised as faster than RTX 2080 Ti.

Please note that the pictures attached below do not show the actual cards. However, but is a fact, they are expected to look very similar to RTX 3070 designs.
